Manifesto

Hello, Human.

The internet was built by people, for people. Somewhere along the way, it stopped being able to tell them apart from everything else.

Today a machine can write like you, talk like you and look like you. Bots argue in comment sections. Farms of fake accounts decide what's popular. Copies of real faces sell things their owners never said.

Every day, it gets harder to tell who's real. And when you can't tell who's real, it gets harder to trust anyone at all.

We think the answer is simple: the internet should be able to know that you're human, and nothing more.

Not your name unless you choose to share it. Not your face, your address or your history. Just the one fact that matters most in an internet full of machines: there is a real person here.

That's what Kin Identity is building. A human layer for the internet, where every account belongs to one real person, and that person stays in control of what it reveals.

We believe your identity belongs to you.

Proving you're human should never mean giving yourself away. We collect what's needed and nothing more, we write our rules down, and you can leave whenever you want.

We believe everyone should be included.

A human internet has to work for every human. That's why Kin speaks 19 languages from the first screen, and why joining is free.

We believe the people who make a network valuable should share in it.

Networks grow because people show up, invite their friends and make them worth being part of. With $KIN, a fixed share of everything goes back to the people who build it together.

Kin ID is where it starts: a place where everyone you meet is somebody. It won't be the last thing we build. Every Kin product that follows will begin from the same promise.

One person. One account. No bots. No copies. Be real. Be Kin.
